FOCUS

I'm hoping "for" eternal life --
I'm hoping "in" the Lord --
The hoping "for" gives charity --
The hoping "in" gives words.

Creation is faith's poetry --
Compassion is love's scope --
Eternal life is God's abode --
The Savior is our hope.

Your poems convey a peaceful spirit, Cynthia.

A great man, Neal A. Maxwell, once said, "We often see in our unnecessary multiplication of words not only a lack of clarity, but much vanity. Our verbosity is sometimes a cover for insincerity or uncertainty, whereas the subtraction of self reduces the unnecessary multiplication of words.

"Meekness, however, is more than self-restraint; it is the presentation of self in a posture of kindness and gentleness, reflecting certitude, strength, serenity, and a healthy self-esteem and self-control."

Thank you, Cynthia, for presenting yourself in such meekness. We need gentleness and serenity in these troubled times.
