The Savior walked on Utah Lake.
He raised the Iron Man
Who drowned in shallow stormy waves.
He dried him, and they ran
To rescue other struggling ones
Who sank, though they were strong --
To lift the weaker lonely souls
Who seeking right, went wrong.

When I read this I think there is a history lesson missing from my education. Fill me in.
Thanks for noticing not the typo of "life" instead of "lift." A few years ago, Utah hosted an Iron Man athletic contest with some of the best swimmer-cycler-runners in the world. But the waves in Utah Lake can be treacherous, though shallow, and one of the Iron Men drowned. I thought of Christ on Galilee lifting Peter up and transferred the story to Utah Lake, which has a similar geographic configuration.
