CANNERY

Machinery of metal
Begins cancophony –
A carousel of pistons –
A blistering of steam –

The fellowship of workers –
The rhythm of the tasks –
The providence of order –
Good labor – all we ask.

I really enjoy working at the Lindon cannery, participating in the production of food storage. The noises reminded me of a Javanese gamelan orchestra.
