“He was greater than the temple” –
Truer than the ritual –
More than counting steps for Sabbath –
He was Lord – Immanuel –
“God with us” – Anointed Maker –
Purer than the kosher Lamb –
More eternal than the altar –
He was Present – firm I-AM.
