SACRAMENT

Thorns on the head – spear to the heart –
Stripes at the back – blood from the hands –
Wounds in the wrists – nails for the feet –
Witness the wounds of Calvary.

Sins of the mind – hardness of heart –
Bites at the back – sleight of the hands –
Stiffness of neck – slips of the tongue –
Confess drops of Gethsemane.
