SHAWL PSALM

The red shawl is a scarlet braid,
A cord, a rope of hope,
A sunset in a grave of yarn,
A way to grieve and cope.

The red shawl is a burial,
A resurrection cue,
A comforter for heavy loss,
Relief beyond our view.
