SOLO PSALM

SOLO PSALM

I did not choose to live alone –
All self was not intended –
I followed promptings step by step
Wherever wisdom wended.

I have to move (I can’t be still –
All sitting makes me slumber)
Until my singular estate
Acquires the plural number.
