MEEK PSALM

MEEK PSALM

The circle seems shrinking in scope –
The power to persuade
Seems smaller – in spite of my hope –
Though He does not upbraid.

As long as He asks me to trust –
I will not be afraid
To speak – imperfect though – I must –
Accept the gift He paid.
