RACHMANINOFF PSALM
He held his ears when critics scathed
His music “fit for hell” –
Concerto One was in-famous –
He shrank in stair-case cell.
He could not write for three more years
Until a hypnotist
Composed his mind – Concerto Two
Piano’s therapist.
He calmed the chords – he rolled the storms
With orchestra – He stunned –
Reviewers choked – could not refute
His heavenly refund.
